Carlo Rinaldi is an Italian Cinematographer and Videomaker who works between Europe and the USA. He started his career as freelance photographer in 2003 and then moved into fictional Cinematography after graduating at Centro Sperimentale, National School of Cinema, in Rome. His cross-media approach of visual storytelling earned him an award at the Eddie Adams Workshop in 2009, therefore he started a collaboration with The Los Angeles Times Video and Multimedia department, producing, directing, and shoting several videos. His experience as a Cinematographer ranges from TV commercials for brand such as Allianz, ANIA, Aprilia, Barilla, Chicco, Pfizer, Telecom Italia, to Emmy Award winning documentaries such as “Caught in the Crossfire” produced by the Los Angeles Times, fictional TV pilots and short films. He is an active member of Italian Society of Cinematographers (A.I.C.). He is currently based in Rome and Los Angeles.
