Diana Bagnoli was born in Turin in 1982. After completing a degree in communication at the University of Turin she moved to Barcelona to study photography. She lived several years in Spain where she started to work as a freelance photographer, focusing on portrait and social reportage. In 2009 at the FIOF Photography Awards, she won first prize in reportage and photography of the year through a series about “cheap” houses in the Catalan capital. Now she is based in Turin and she often travels to find new stories. She is interested in documenting life and portraying people and published her work on national and international magazines such as Marie Claire, Le Monde Magazine, Vanity Fair, Io Donna, D di Repubblica, Days Japan, Gioia. Her work was exhibited in Beijing, Barcelona, Bologna, Sicily and Turin.
