José Luis Barcia Fernandez was born in Asturias in the north Spain and is currently living in Madrid. He has a chemistry degree and works as a logistics manager in a multinational retail company. His interest in art started when he was 13 and first saw Picasso's Guernica, that stroke him for its symbolism and meaning. In 2003 he became interested in photography and then started to mix it digitally with painting, composing digital collages. José participated in 20 national and international exhibitions of digital art and photography. In 2011 he started making mobile photography with his phone and it quickly became one of his favorite hobbies. He is interested in street and architecture photography. He tries to offer multiple readings and express feelings and moods through an ever-present subject in all his photographs.
