Massimo Nicolaci was born in Catania in 1989. Since 2006, he has attended several important workshops. In June 2009, he was one of the young photographers chosen to participate at the “First Impression” portfolio reading organized by Magnum Photos in collaboration with the Photography Gallery in London. In March 2010 he moved to New York and made a small photographic project called “NYC”. In 2011 he completed a report at the Rehabilitation Center Equestrian – Villa Buon Respiro – titled “Prendimi per mano”. In the fall of 2012 Massimo completed a report press oil Clausura Monastery of “Santa Scolastica” at Subiaco. In 2013 he photographed the Conclave with Christopher Morris for Time Magazine. In 2014 he followed the Indipendent Referendum in Scotland. In 2015 he is still photographer in the new film by Alessandro Comodin, “Happy time will come soon”. In the summer of 2015 he contributed to the creation of LUCE and since 2015 is on the staff of the TPW (Toscana photography Workshops) and joined LUZ. In 2016 he moved to Paris.
