Nicolò Minerbi was born in Milan in 1974. Based in Modica, he started as journalist, then he became photographer because stories come from the streets. The topic of his work is color, but he also enjoy the black and white power. He loves both strong and sharp, with some faces somewhere and situations too. Fancy cuts and out of focus shots are always welcome in his reportage. He shoots basically in two ways, with film cameras, traditional Leica and panoramic format, and with digital stuff too. He has taken pictures following his own way, but works also on assignment, for national and international magazines, institutions and advertisements. He works for Italian and europeans different magazines expecially for Vanity Fair Italia, Figaro, Stern, Financial Times, Ventiquattro, D, Panorama First.
