THE NEW EUROPEANS: TURKS IN GERMANY

“The New Europeans: Turks in Germany” by Robin Hammond tells us about the large number of Turkish people living in Berlin, especially in Kotti, also know as “Little Instabul”. Turks are the largest ethnic minority in Germany. Most came during the 60’s and 70’s as guest workers to fill a large labor shortage during a period of economic boom.  © Robin Hammond / NOOR / LUZ
